The extraction process with water is simple, but the extraction time is relatively long, and there are many pigment impurities extracted. If Flax lignans is extracted with hot water, protease and amylase can be added in the process to promote pigment dissolution. The oil content affects the efficiency of pigment extraction, and pre-degreasing before pigment extraction is beneficial to pigment extraction. Acid solvent can improve the solubility of pigment, but reduce its stability. 50-60℃ is the ideal extraction temperature. When water is used as the extraction solvent, especially at room temperature, the extraction time is more than 12h, or even 2-3 days, and the extraction time is not more than 4-5h. Mixed Tocopherols Oil is advisable to raise the series 2 or 3 times.

Microwave extraction

The Gardenia Yellow extraction power was 210w, the extraction time was changed by extracting with 50% ethanol and water solution at the time of 80s twice, the solid-liquid ratio was 1:12, Indole-3-Carbinol and the extraction rate of pigment was 98.24%. The traditional method was used to extract 60% ethanol solution at 5℃ for 2 times, each time 2h. The extraction times and ratio of solid to liquid were the same as that of microwave extraction. However, 3-Indolylcarbinol the extraction rate of pigment was lower than that of microwave extraction (92.1%).

Compared with traditional solvent extraction, 3,3′-Diindolylmethane microwave extraction has the advantages of less time consuming and higher efficiency.

Gardenia Yellow is actually a natural substance

Because it appears as an “additive”, it makes parents suspicious.
