Degree selection and astigmatism relationship

There is a conversion formula for the degree of Clear Frame Glasses lens and contact lens: fo = FS / (1-dfs) fo – the degree of contact lens FS – the photometric number of frame lens D – the distance between frame lens and cornea (0.012m)

For example, if the power of the Transparent Eyeglasses frame lens is -4.00d and the distance between the frame and the contact lens is 12mm, the power of the contact lens can be converted into fo = 4.00d / [1-0.012 (- 4.00)] = -3.82d, which can be given as -3.75d.

(- below 4.00d, negligible due to small difference)

If the Tortoise Shell Frames lens power is 4.00d to 5.00d, the contact lens power is: myopia minus 0.25D, hyperopia plus 0.25D;

If the frame lens power is 5.25d to 7.00d, the contact lens power is: myopia minus 0.50D, hyperopia plus 0.50D;

If the frame lens power is 7.25d to 9.00d, the contact lens power is: myopia minus 0.75D, hyperopia plus 0.75D;

If the Tortoiseshell Glasses Frames lens power is 9.25d to 10.00d, the contact lens power is: myopia minus 1.00d, hyperopia plus 1.00d.

If there is no corresponding degree after the conversion of a degree, you can choose the degree close to the lower one. For example, if 800 degrees is reduced by 75 degrees, it is 725 degrees. If there is no 725 degrees, you should choose 700 degrees, and so on.
